Darkside Demo

These four do not draw a picture, they work on one – so they take the row’s own background image. Choose one without a background picture and nothing mounts: the row keeps whatever it already had, which is the point of the canvas being a separate layer.

Chromatic

The color channels pulled apart, further where the pointer is. Move the pointer across it.

Barrel

The picture bent under the pointer, like glass held over one part of it rather than the whole thing warping.

Dissolve

Taken apart by noise as the row is scrolled. The scroll is the playhead; the row is held still while it runs.

Scatter

Broken into cells and thrown, each cell leaving at its own moment. Also driven by the scroll.
